I had my first cry of the season tonight. It is a bit later than usual, but it definitely won't be the last before the new year. I hate this time of year.
I will continue to have my good and bad moments until early January. Nothing unusual. I just HAVE to get back to the tanning salon, though--it helps me tremendously with my SAD and I don't want to have a bad winter. All will be well, though.
I haven't cried-at least not yet. Zoloft helps! ;-)
I've thought about getting one of those lamps with artificial sunlight for SAD, but it's just one lamp and I can't stay in one place for long, so not sure if it'd be worth it. It would be nice if the real sun would show up once in a while.
Well, between the lack of sunlight and my keeping vampire hours, I don't get to observe natural light all that much. The tanning salon is a blessing at this time of year!
I just read in the paper this morning about a proposed 10% tax on tanning salon visits, and thought of you. I don't think that would affect the frequency of your visits!
I usually do that on my birthday...
ReplyDeleteHope it gets better.

ReplyDeleteYes, I got an email from the salon that I frequent--they are NOT happy about this! I would imagine this would raise their prices a bit.
