The one with the dog reminds me-one day last week, Mom said "you've been working like a dog!", and I thought that expression was weird because MY dog does nothing but lie around all day. I know the expression comes when dogs were used to turn cooking spit wheels hundreds of years ago, but it's funny how expressions change over time!
