Sin City

It has been decided that we WILL be going to Las Vegas in a couple of months. I KNOW we will have a great time. However, this will be our first trip there, so I am asking for your help. Please, will anyone who has been to Vegas let me know a few things: Where is/are the best place/s to stay? Are there any 'must-sees' there? Generally, what can I expect? Thanks in advance for any info/help you can give!

  1. Oh my stars, Kate. There are some things you need to know--good and bad!
    Things to see--good:
    Fountains at Bellagio
    Flowers at Bellagio
The entire interior of the Venetian
The light show in old downtown--Fremont St--at night.
See what kind of free show tickets you can get for sitting through a time-share presentation, you can also hone your "no, thank you" skills at this time.

    Things you need to know--bad
Do not take the cards offered by the people on the sidewalks at night. Just ignore those people and walk right by. They pass out all kinds of ads for hookers.
Stay away from old downtown at night except for the light show--9pm.
Don't bother getting up before 11--nothing happening in the morning there.
I hope you have a good time!

Expect that when you come HOME from VEGAS you will need another week OFF from work just to sleep!

VEGAS is THE BEST. There is soooo much to do and see, (not even gambling)

But you will be EXHAUSTED when you get home!

    Have fun!

    (I am jealous!)

I adore Vegas. I've always wanted to stay at NY NY. The Rio is fabulous and so is the Hard Rock it's just pricey these days!!
