Question

Isn't it just being pretentious to use the term 'films' instead of just saying 'movies?' The people who say 'films' are just trying to put those of us who call them 'movies' in our place--like we aren't cool enough to be in their club, or something. Sorry, but those people are total assclowns, in my opinion.

    I do think I like 'assclown' a bit more than 'asshat,' for sure. But they both are great words.

    actually, I think the movie making people call them "pictures". "Film" is a more highbrow term, IMO. "Movie" is used by us peons who shell out our money to watch what usually turns out to be crap.

    Yeah, everyone I have even heard use the term 'film' is trying to be 'in' and highbrow. I think it makes them sound assclowns. ;)
