Common Ground

You know when you have to pee so badly that when you finally get to sit on the toilet, it turns out to be the best thing to happen to you all day? Yeah, I had one of those moments tonight. ;D

  1. One of the reasons I love being a guy...

    The world is my urinal...

    ;)~

But really, I know what you mean... Without TMI, locomotives don't have toilets when other circumstances arrive... And I couldn't wait until I was able to get back to the depot, so I think I do understand where you're coming from!

  3. My BIGGEST problem is that I wait too long--I'm always saying 'just one more thing to do' before I finally go to the bathroom. ;)

Best of all is when you've been out grocery shopping, and held it till you get home, practically mow over the dog on your way to the toilet. Then, bliss. ;-)

  5. OMG. I wait too long too. I wait until I am literally about to explode! Especially if I am in the middle of writing or movie editing.

  6. Just like little kids--can't be 'bothered' to stop what we're doing! ;)

That last part reminds me of hearing about gamers and other computer junkies (men) who keep empty pop cans and bottles by the desk so they can pee without leaving what they're doing. I guess girls either have to wear diapers or are forced to pause the game/computer and go pee. Maybe that's why we live longer-we get more exercise! :-P

  10. When we were first married, K would 'wait' most times before going and it made me SO mad! But, he said they were taught discipline and control in the Navy and he was just continuing it. They were told WHEN they were allowed to go and if they weren't given permission, then they had to 'take it out and tie it in a knot.' I always thought that was bizarre, but the reasoning behind it did make sense. (If you're in the middle of battle, you just can't stop what you're doing in order to run off to the bathroom, etc.)

Wish I had that kind of control!

Being In a Funk

I'm still having a bit of a funk going on in my life. To be expected, I guess. But, it REALLY is affecting me to see my best friend ...
