Where The Deer And The Antelope Play

Okay, so there weren't any antelope, but last night when I looked out of our bedroom window I DID see deer. First, a doe went across the street, then a yearling, and following the two of them, a smaller albino! The deer herds in and around the city have always had at least one albino, but I have never seen one near our house before. It was kind of cool.

  3. kristi: It was great--and I WILL be posting about our trip ASAP! :)

burg: Yes, the first one that was spotted here was quite a novelty--after this many years of seeing them, they feel quite common.

  5. With all the deer we have around our place I've never seen an albino, either! Where's the picture??? :)

  6. Obviously, the albinism must be due to genetics and we have had at least one albino in the local herd for well over twenty years. And I have NEVER had a camera when I have seen one. But, what else is new, right? :)
