Did you hear the one about the turkeys and the mail carriers? No, it isn't a joke, but a true story. Seems as if there is a group of tom turkeys harassing the mail carriers in Grand Haven, MI. They are more aggressive than some dogs and chase and peck the mailmen. This story made me laugh so hard I spit coffee through my nose! For the whole story, go here. (Some of the comments are hysterical, too!)

I think this may be one of the best descriptions of love/marriage I have ever seen. Funny, but true! :D
oh, this was funny! Thanks for posting this!
ReplyDeleteThe mailman is the high point of Spot's day. He goes nuts when he hears the mailman on the porch, but if we're out walking, Spot practically drags me over to the mailman so he can sniff his legs. I think it's a territory thing-it's OK if we meet the mailman away from the house, but he's not welcome on the property. ;-)
Maybe the post office should hand out shin guards to the mail carriers?
I have heard about attack geese, but never heard about attack turkeys before! :D
