Two recent reasons why I don't watch the news:
--I am sick to death hearing about Barack, the professor, and the cop sitting down and having a beer together. The entire story just went on way too long, but STFU already about the damn beer! Am I supposed to think that this makes Barack a 'common' man? This whole thing would NEVER have been such a big deal--and I'm talking from the beginning of the 'story'--if the MSM hadn't kept at it like they have. This never should have been more than a one day story, at most.
--And come on already, how the f***ing hell much longer do we have to be subjected to the Michael Jackson 'story?' I'm waiting for the big news to be the inventory of his underwear drawer! ENOUGH!!! I'm crying 'uncle!' It can stop.

I think this may be one of the best descriptions of love/marriage I have ever seen. Funny, but true! :D
Hear Hear. I stopped watching the news altogether about 2 months ago. It's all liberal lies anyway.
ReplyDeleteI guess this is what we get for having the 'luxury' of 24 hour 'news'--but at what cost, right?
ReplyDeleteWhat, you don't enjoy our tribal government bent on thuggery...as for Jackson, only a tribal thug would have kept him in medicine illegally...it's all about promoting self, bling, material things.
ReplyDeleteTrying to avoid all of this bullshit is just that much harder when my husband has us signed up to every TV channel our cable system offers. ;) It just doesn't seem to get any better as time goes on, does it?
ReplyDeleteI agree. I nearly threw the remote at the TV yesterday when I sat down in the living room and saw that Mom had left the TV on a program where they were interviewing Tito Jackson.
ReplyDeleteThere was a letter to the editor in the paper the other day where some woman was upset that Obama was setting a bad example for children because of that "sit down for a beer" thing. Sometimes I think the Amish must be the happiest people in the world.
There definitely are days where I think I would be MUCH happier if I were to drop-kick the TVs out of the front window. :D
