--Today the temp in our backyard was a tropical +15 degrees! Considering the high yesterday was -5, this is a vast improvement. We should continue to have temps in the teens this week--yippee!!
--What is the definition of true love? How about: putting on a Super Bowl party for your significant other when you LOATHE the game of football. Yup, that's what I did for K yesterday. I'm such a good wife.
--Got a phone call from the cardiologists office today and now K has to go in for a full stress test on Friday. I guess there was some difference in his last EKG from the time before and they want to see if there is any heart disease going on. Oh, yay.
--We bought ourselves a new printer/scanner/copier on our last road trip and I am loving it! When we got this computer, the scanner we had just wouldn't work--I could install it, but it wouldn't scan into the computer. Couldn't find out the problem, so I got rid of the scanner. Well, turns out that K missed the scanner as much as me, so we got ourselves a new 3-in-1. I started copying our important papers last night and am really enjoying working with the thing. It is so cool to have a copier in my own home! (I know, I'm SUCH a geek.)
--And a little FYI. There is a place called the 'Gay Bar' here in the UP. That is its name because it is located in the town called 'Gay.'

I MUST qualify my statement about the party: K was the only person at it! So, actually, all I did was spend the entire evening cooking all the party foods one would eat while tailgating--but, it still was SOMETHING! :)
ReplyDeleteI watched the commercials on YouTube and was quite disappointed--none of them were that great. My favs: the Blockbuster one, the Taco Bell lions, and the Bud Lite gorillas. Other than those, not much to say.
